REVIEWS

******
Weer een prima nummer van Pearl Jam.
*****
Another good track from Pearl Jam, but I think 'Mind Your Manners' is slightly better and more interesting.

A very mature sounding track from Pearl Jam, and is a grower for sure.

Feel a bit disappointed, but it's alright I guess.
****
****
Easy to see why the much more succinct 'Mind Your Manners' was chosen as the lead single. This isn't necessarily worse for that fact though as it does sound very nice.
*****
Zeer goed nummer van Pearl Jam! Mag gerust ook scoren in de Ultratop 50!
***
It's alright.
****
***
Not bad, though it does seem to go on for too long. 3.5*
****

****
Pretty good song, 3.5.
****
It's decent but I can't help but expect more
****
Krap 4 sterren !!! ☺
***
Aardig, maar geen bijzonder plaatje. Niet voor mij geschikt.
*****
Balladen, da mag ich Eddies Stimme
****
It's somehow exactly what I expected but also better than what I thought it'd be. It's not going to set the world on fire, but neither are they anymore, still it's quite enjoyable however.
*****
That's why I like Pearl Jam. Wonderful track.
*****
I feel as though I'd be more experienced for context here if I was around when Pearl Jam really made their mark. I do apologise to anyone older than me, but I am younger than "Ten" :p

After all, this does feel like the recountings of an artist that has seen and experienced a lot, tackling a rather grim topic with a foresight that I can't yet empathise with.

Regardless, the tune really does resonate well with me. The way the chorus keeps going and going keeps me interested along the way. I don't think this is overly long; I've listened to it twice before finishing typing this review :p

What really fascinates me also is just how much it seems to be generally resonating. On one of their core formats, the Modern Rock/Alternative chart, this has become their biggest ever non-lead single (also excluding "Last Kiss" etc) since "Daughter". Especially crazy considering that the format has recently veered into a poppier direction and has not been paying due to their staple artists. There's just something special in this I think. 4.7

If I had listened to this once and never again I would not have reviewed it, but if I did (for a number on my profile, yeah!), I would have given it 3 stars but had nothing to say about it. I'm glad I didn't/don't do that.

A very long song, but some nice vocals and guitar.
